By accessing and using the Carbon AI service ("the Service") operated by Tao Climate Ltd ("Tao Climate", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Carbon AI calculates the estimated carbon footprint of your flight using flight data and the Google Travel Impact Model. The Service also provides access to purchase verified CO2 removal certificates from Tao Climate's project inventory.
Carbon footprint estimates are calculations based on available flight data and standardized emissions factors. They are provided for informational purposes and are not guaranteed to be accurate for all flight configurations.
The Service is available to users aged 18 and over. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Some features of the Service may require you to create an account or provide payment information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account details and the security of your credentials.
Payments for CO2 removal purchases are processed by Stripe. Tao Climate does not store your payment card details. All transactions are subject to Stripe's own terms and conditions.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its systems, or related networks.
Automated use of the Service (scraping, bots, bulk queries) is prohibited without prior written consent from Tao Climate.
All content, design, and technology underlying the Carbon AI service, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Tao Climate or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
Flight data and carbon calculation methodologies used by the Service may be sourced from third parties including Google and FlightRadar24. Use of such data is subject to the respective third-party terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Tao Climate makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Tao Climate does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Carbon footprint estimates are indicative calculations and may vary from actual emissions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tao Climate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
Tao Climate reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the contact information provided.
